Privacy Policy

Document language: English
Document revision: 2026-07-10
Applies to: Cobalt Series website and related Public Preview materials from Synth Studio Neo (the “Provider”)

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the Provider handles information in connection with the Cobalt Series website (the “Site”) and Cobalt Series Public Preview software (the “Software”).

The Provider is an independent individual developer operating under the name Synth Studio Neo. The Provider aims to collect as little personal information as possible.

2. What this Site does not collect by default

Unless separately announced, the Site and Software are designed so that the Provider does not:

  • require account registration
  • sell products through this Site at this time
  • run a contact form that stores messages on Provider-controlled servers
  • intentionally collect names, postal addresses, phone numbers, or payment details

3. Software operation

The Software operates primarily in your local environment. The Provider designs the Software not to collect personal information beyond what is necessary for normal local use.

If authentication, crash reporting, usage statistics, or similar features are added later, the Provider will disclose that separately and update this Policy.

4. Website, hosting, and analytics

The Site is a static website. Hosting, CDN, DNS, and related infrastructure may be provided by third parties such as Cloudflare. Those providers may process technical request data (for example IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamps) as part of ordinary network delivery, security, and reliability.

The Site uses Google Analytics (Google tag / gtag.js, measurement ID G-TB8653HT6Z) to understand aggregate traffic and page usage. Google may process technical and usage data under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. The Site initializes Google Consent Mode with analytics and advertising storage denied by default, then updates those states according to the visitor’s Cookie-Script choices where Consent Mode is enabled.

5. Contact through SoundCloud

The preferred contact method is a Direct Message (DM) to the Provider’s SoundCloud profile:

https://soundcloud.com/itdhitqqxjec

SoundCloud is an independent third-party service. Messages you send there are processed under SoundCloud’s own terms and privacy policy. The Provider does not control SoundCloud’s systems.

Please do not include unnecessary personal information in messages. The Provider will use information contained in received messages only as needed to review feedback, answer questions, or improve the Software and Site.

6. Downloads and external links

Manual packages and other files may be delivered from third-party storage or CDN endpoints. Following external links (including SoundCloud, documentation hosts, or download redirects) may cause those services to process technical data under their own policies.

7. Cookies

The Site uses Cookie-Script to present cookie information and collect consent preferences where required. Essential technical cookies or similar storage may also be used by hosting or security providers as part of ordinary website delivery.

Non-essential cookies, including analytics-related cookies used with Google Analytics, are intended to remain off until you allow the relevant category in the Cookie-Script banner or settings panel. Google Consent Mode is used so that analytics storage starts as denied and can be updated after your choice. You can change or withdraw cookie preferences through that interface where available.

Cookie-Script is a third-party consent-management service. Its operation is also subject to Cookie-Script’s own terms and privacy policy.

8. Retention

Because the Provider does not operate a dedicated user database for this Site, there is generally no Provider-side customer profile to retain. Any message content the Provider receives through SoundCloud may be kept only as long as reasonably needed for review or follow-up, then discarded.

9. Children

The Site and Software are intended for general audiences interested in music production tools. The Provider does not knowingly seek personal information from children.

10. Changes

The Provider may update this Privacy Policy when the Site, Software, hosting setup, or contact methods change. The revision date above will be updated when changes are published.

11. Contact

Privacy-related questions about this Site or the Software should be sent by SoundCloud DM to the profile linked above. The Provider does not publish a personal email address, phone number, or home address on this Site.
